Il giorno e sabato il 4 di Febbraio. E un giorno monumentale. Daniele e per partire per suo semestre all'estero in Urbino, Italia. Con un valigia che pesa proprio 50 libra (~ 22.679618 kg) e due bagagli da mano, lui e tutto pronto per la Dolce Vita. Siamo tutti molto orgogliosi di lui: un passo piu vicino di essere un UOMO (ma, per noi e ancora difficile di pensarlo non come un bambino, o almeno un ragazzo!). Come dice la mamma: essere una mamma e il lavoro piu faticoso del'la vita.... specialmente quando e tempo di lasciarlo andare.


E arrivato sano e salvo Domenica mattina. Ho (Carolina) skype-ato lui e sembra bene! Freddo, stanco, e fuso orario, ma bene! 


Ci vediamo come lui sopravvivera tutto il neve in Urbino, pero!

The day is Saturday, February 4th. It is a monumental day. Daniele is about to leave for his semester abroad in Urbino, Italy. With a suitcase that weighs 50 pounds and two carry-ons, he is ready for the Dolce Vita (Sweet Life). We are all very proud of him: one step closer to becoming a MAN (even though, for us it is very difficult to think of him not as a boy, or at least a teenager!). As Mom says: being a mom is the hardest job in life... especially when it is time to let go.

He arrived safe and sound Sunday morning. I (Caroline) skyped him and he seems really good. Cold, tired, and jet lagged, but good!

We will see how he survives all of the snow in Urbino, though!
